I have been exercising since I was a teenager and I was never really happy with the results I got. I would train for a week or two, and then take a week or two off. When I went to the gym, I would do whatever exercise I was in the mood for, even if it meant missing a bodypart for a month or more. My eating habits were also as eratic as my exercise program.One day, I saw an advertisement for the Body for Life contest. The before and after pictures of the winners really motivated me, and I thought competing in the competeition would be a great way to get into shape. I knew that what I was doing was not working, so I decided to get some professional help. I met with Mike Siaflekis and we talked about my fitness goals, health history, and my nutritional habits.
I trained with Mike Siaflekis while I competed in the Body for Life contest. In only 12 weeks I lost 27 lbs. of fat and added 5 lbs. of mucsle.

We started working out with Mike in January 2008. The reason we selected Mike as our trainer was because of his knowledge and expertise as a trainer as evinced by his credentials. He encourages better eating routines and nutrition habits that optimize fitness results. Mike listened to our fitness goals and tailored a program that matched our fitness goals and hectic work schedules. Mike knows how to effectively motivate; he gets us to do our “personal best”, whether it’s a bicep curl or a sprint. He works with an injury, maximizing potential and facilitating recovery. But he never stops working with you despite injuries. He respects our limitations and optimizes our strengths. Our time with Mike has flown and the gains are impressive. It is hard to believe we have been working with him for just over a year.Mike is realistic and every session is a success experience; a personal best. On a personal note, my doctor has stopped recommending blood pressure medication, as my blood pressure has reduced from 146/94 to 120/70 due to weight loss and fitness improvement. I attribute this decrease in my blood pressure to Mike’s commitment to assist me in achieving my fitness goal.
It is hard to think of what our lives would be like without Mike! He goes beyond “Body Sculpting”, and includes “Physiology Sculpting” and even “Mind Sculpting”, as our attitudes and stress management have changed since Mike has been our personal trainer.
